Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BioStride ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BioStride is an AI-powered triathlon training coach that connects to your Intervals.icu account to read training data and generate personalised training plans, adapt them based on your performance, and provide coaching advice via chat.

3. AI-Generated Content

Training plans, workout recommendations, and coaching advice are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). This content is not a substitute for advice from a qualified human coach or medical professional.

You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated training recommendations. BioStride is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from following AI-generated plans.

Stop training immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath, and seek medical attention.

4. Your Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

5. Intervals.icu Integration

By connecting your Intervals.icu account, you authorise BioStride to:

• Read your training activities, wellness data, sport settings, and fitness metrics (CTL, ATL, TSB).
• Write training plan events to your Intervals.icu calendar (only when you explicitly approve a plan).

Your Intervals.icu API key is stored encrypted. You can revoke access at any time by removing the key from your BioStride profile.

6. Free and Paid Tiers

The Service offers a free tier with limited usage (3 AI plan generations per month) and a paid Pro subscription with unlimited access. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of a charge.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI features.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• Inject malicious prompts into the AI chat to manipulate outputs.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. BioStride is not liable for losses caused by downtime.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BioStride is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.
